How does it work?

During hypnosis you are in an altered state of consciousness. You always are in control and you can stop at any time.

Counselling and hypnotherapy services are offered together or separate in sessions. Counselling and hypnotherapy approaches are client-centred and solution focused.

Is hypnotherapy safe?

Hypnosis will only be undertaken if both the hypnotherapist and the client agree to the therapy. Under the care of a professional and trained hypnotherapist the client is generally considered safe.

The client initially goes through a progressive muscle relaxation, followed by "bypassing the critical faculty" so that selective thinking (one idea) is implanted into the sub-conscience mind. At that point the body remains very relaxed while the mind is completely alert, and is able to receive positive suggestions. The client would not do anything beyond his/her ethical or moral values or discuss secrets that they would not want to reveal.

Can I be hypnotized?

Most people can be hypnotized. You can not be hypnotized if you don't want to be. Success depends on whether the person is willing and wanting to implement changes and is receptive to the idea of hypnosis.

How many sessions would a person need for clinical hypnotherapy?

The answer varies from each individual, but 3 - 6 sessions are recommended for optimal results. For stop smoking and weight loss, these can be purchases through a package.

What are the fees?

Fees start at $200.00.
